Sliding door drive control

For a sliding door system, we developed a motor controller that uses the TMC4671 chip from Trinamic and is controlled by an STM32 microcontroller.

We utilize the FOC functions of the TMC4671 and have programmed custom positioning software that runs on the STM32 microcontroller. The motor controller supports additional digital inputs and outputs for opening and closing locks, motion detectors, light barriers, inputs for special functions, and other applications.

The motor controller can be operated via CAN and RS232. RS232 was integrated because numerous Bluetooth-RS232 bridges are available on the market.

For time-based functions, a battery-backed real-time clock (RTC) is built in.

Configuration is performed via a Qt-based PC application that runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux.
